Datacop is a digital studio that assists e-Commerce companies in transforming raw data into revenue through four levels: data gathering, preparation, monitoring and exploration, and activation. The team create tools and offer expert advice for each of these stages. Throughout their six years of experience, they have partnered with over 25 e-Commerce companies generating an annual revenue between $10m and $300m.

The opportunity

Handling large quantities of customer data in a world of evolving data protection regulation, Datacop needed external support with understanding and communicating the legal regime on data tracking and cookies. Furthermore, as an early-stage business, the team needed employment and contractor arrangement in place.

Slack data protection support

We provided ad hoc support to help Datacop comply with GDPR and CCPA regulations in the realm of data analytics, as well as best practices for data tracking.

Human-friendly data protection information

We worked alongside the team to craft easy-to-understand information on data tracking, in particular when using data analytics tools, to help users stay informed.

Employment contracts

Our Slovak team drafted and reviewed documentation to improve Datacop’s employment processes, ensuring they were legally compliant and protected.

Legal operation implementation

After finalizing their employment contracts, we used Pandadoc to store the documents and provided guidance to the team on how to use them, making the process of hiring new team members as easy as possible.
