This multi-jurisdictional deal involved legal aspects in the UK, Germany, Slovakia, and the USA, requiring expertise in various jurisdictions. Sparring’s team, led by Natalia Felvidekyova, acted as legal counsel, focusing on the specifics and aspects of Slovak legislation in this transaction. Natalia worked closely with Chris Cooke, director and partner from our client Old Street Solutions, Ed Dawes, the corporate partner from Keystone Law, and Capila, the modern corporate finance partner, to ensure a smooth and successful acquisition process. Colleagues from Capila, led by Matyas Varga, assisted with the financial due diligence for the Slovakian subsidiary.
We are proud to have contributed to the success of this transaction and are excited to see the next steps and growth of the business. With our expertise in international transactions and legal support in multiple jurisdictions, Sparring continues to assist companies in navigating complex legal landscapes and achieving their business objectives.
